The story told is a dark one...
An animated sequel to a live, installation piece (Relative- where the participants
chose one memory to take with them into the afterlife), the tale starts out simple-
A young, divorced mother is taking care of her toddler, sick son in an inner city ghetto.
All hope is lost as the tale progresses.
The son loses his life to the disease.
The mother loses her will.
And attempts to find reason in a plane of existence
Somewhere beyond this world.
And find light at the end
Of the darkest tunnel imaginable.
